A Bit About Me
My legal practice is founded upon advocacy with compassion, honesty, and fairness. Nearly twenty years ago, I started as an administrative assistant and then paralegal at a premier law firm in San Diego. My mentors taught me both the intricacies of the law as well as my founding principles. Inspired, I took the plunge into law school to pursue my passion of helping people. I take pride in the diverse groups I’ve served through the National Center for Lesbian Rights, California Rural Legal Assistance, and the Ministry of Justice in Santiago, Chile. After moving to the Bay Area in 2010, I returned to my roots in family law and joined LFLG and Hello Divorce in 2018.
What I do best is listen, empathize, and help clients develop a plan that allows them to move forward with confidence as they begin a new chapter in their lives. I break down the “legalese” to ensure clients understand how the law impacts them, and I act as a coach – letting clients know that they can do this, they will get through it, and that we will guide them every step of the way. I respect that every family situation is unique, and I value creative solutions and working as a team to determine what is best for each family.
Away from the office, I am a mom to four year old twins who keep me constantly on my toes! My wife, kids, and I love to explore all the Bay Area has to offer in terms of food, nature, and fun! I also love to travel, explore outdoor spaces, and get “crafty” with my kids
